Pre - Intermediate

1year ~ 1.5years

Pre-Intermediate follows a barre structure similar to Beginner 3, but with longer counts and a wider variety of facings and directional changes. Port de bras also becomes larger and more expansive, and centre work takes on a much bigger role. In centre, students begin learning the foundations of more technical elements. From this level onward, you can think of the class as the first step toward upper-intermediate training: it is where you build the fundamentals needed for more technical movements. If this level feels appropriate for you, you may take it together with Intermediate, and you can also join Pointe class. However, if you have only just moved up to this level or it feels a bit challenging, it is recommended to take it together with Beginner 3.
